Hi folks, another year is with us. I'd say that overall 2010 was a success, despite all the shenanigans and frustrations surrounding not being able to sell our house..
We've had a brilliant Christmas, seeing family all over the country, and are now back home and looking forward to being back into a routine!
I was wondering how many books I'd read in 2010, and the answer is 34 and a half - which I think is not bad. About one every week and a half?
Speaking of that, I read C J Sansome's Heartstone before Christmas, borrowed from my mum. Now reading a book given to me by my mother in law..
Got a beautiful 5-string banjo over Christmas too, and have enjoyed getting to grips with it - had a couple of great jam sessions with the family up in Brum, particularly my brother-in-law (strictly speaking my sister-in-law's husband). Also a couple of classic 6 player games of Settlers of Catan, and a fun new (to me) game - Bananagrams.
