Wow.. didn't realise it had been a month since my last blog. Still.. it's been pretty busy. We found a buyer for our house about 3 weeks ago, so rushed up to the Midlands that weekend and viewed 9 houses in a day.. with mixed success. Still, we pressed on with our house sale.. until two days ago when at the point of exchange our buyer pulled out, giving no reason. Obviously we were really grateful they'd taken everything so seriously and wasted our time and money! Still, it's not the end of the world, and the house is back on the market.
Eden's got four teeth now, and is desperate to stand up the whole time.. she learnt to clap her hands on command this week too. Such a cutie!!
Finished Julian May's Galactic Milieu series over the past little while.. realise I haven't blogged about books for a while! Anyway there's four books, Intervention, Jack the Bodiless, Diamond Mask and Magnificat. Regular readers will know that I loved Julian's Pliocene Exiles series.. and this series also exceeded expectations - I borrowed the whole lot from my sister. If I'm honest I felt a bit sad about finishing them all.. but I've started new series - the Shardlake books by C J Sansome which come highly recommended by by mum!!
Got another half marathon later this month, and so have been keeping up the running around the place. Had a fab run in the torrential rain this lunchtime!
Went along to the recording of Godfrey Birtill's latest album at Central Hall this week, which was great. Personally I really like his stuff.. yes it's highly unusual and a bit weird - but maybe that's why I can relate to it!!!!
